The Ensemble C Barré joins forces with the Neue Vocalsolisten of Stuttgart to create a program of 4 new works specially commissioned to young composers for their singular ensembles.
With their “joint adventure”, the two French and German ensembles have fulfilled their long-standing wish to create a joint repertoire of works commissioned from four young composers, dealing with themes as varied as they are personal, inspired in particular by absence and mourning, climate change, and also, with biting irony, by SPAM scams as well as other explosive subjects from international affairs.
Concert for 6 singers and instrumental ensemble. With the support of the Ernst Von Siemens Music Foundation and Impuls Neue Musik (Franco-German-Swiss fund for contemporary music), the French Institute/City of Marseille and the Goethe Institute – marseille, the Caisse des Dépôts and the Orange Foundation. In coproduction with the gmem-CNCM- marseille, the Opéra de Marseille, the ECLAT Festival and the Neue Vocalsolisten of Stuttgart.
