The piece is presented as a study of the transformations of rhythm and their connections with instrumental gesture.

Different types of rhythmic elaboration are proposed (polyrhythms, polymetries, variations in speed), always associated with an almost choreographic gestural energy.

Contrasting textures, fragmented writing, dizzying projections, but above all constant transformations of timbre: the ballet of rhythmic gestures, arranged according to their physical amplitude, will produce a multitude of variations in sonic tension right up to implosion and erasure.

Audiences will be able to take part in the various rhythmic games on offer, using their connected mobile phones. They can chat and interact with the musicians via a network connection and a video screen. They will be able to ‘play’ and suggest directions to follow, instrument combinations or even live comments…
The various interactive actions will gradually produce a struggle with the ensemble for control of the musical flow. By the end of the piece, the audience will be reflecting on our daily digital lives and the new ways in which we listen to music.
